As part of my challenges I set this summer a Zoo was on my list. We visited Folly farm, I know Z enjoys it so a few of us all went.

It was a disaster from the start! Z had a full on meltdown going in because it’s all new since we were there last. All he wanted to do was go on the big wheel, it was raining and I didn’t really want to go on the big wheel never mind the others and I didn’t particularly want to loose them straight off. A quick play in the sand and park and we headed off to the big wheel. He loves the height and the movement and it was the calmest he was other than on the rides!

The animals! We saw a handful! The penguins being the main ones and those are his favourites, water what do you expect!

Most of the time was spent in the outdoor play areas and the fair ground. It was wet so the fair ground was the best place to be!

Since he was here last there’s a new playground with a pirate theme, now this is where he spent most of the day. Running, jumping and smiling. ( I may never quite get that t-shirt clean again) Now if this park was closed in and had one entrance and one exit I’d have been fine I could have joined the other sitting on the bench watching from afar but with Z I couldn’t take the chance!

On our way home we stopped off at Tenby, I can’t remember the last time I was at Tenby, maybe not even since I was a grown up! It was easy to go there and stop and wake Z than try and stop somewhere else!

We had some chips and a walk on the beach before it was time to come home!

Challenge number 2 complete!
